BASIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

ideasinc is open to all age 18 years old and above. One member of the team must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident. All participants shall form a team of 3 individuals.

Teams which consist of a pre-existing business entity must not be registered / incorporated for more than 3 years.

Teams shortlisted as finalists (top 30 teams), whom are not already registered business entities, are to register or incorporate a registered business entity based on the submitted proposal before the semi-finals.

Teams with first-time entrepreneurs, who are Singapore Citizen/Permanent Resident, can also apply for the Startup SG Founder grant through NTUitive , Teams with an NTU Student/ Staff/ Alumni as a member can also apply for NTUitive's MDT grant. Find out more here.

Singapore was built by resilient and industrious people and our response to COVID-19 has demonstrated this. Businesses need to innovate to continue functioning in challenging circumstances. Work needs to be reimagined and reinvented using contemporary technologies.

Pushing alongside the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, ideasinc 2020 looks for challenges and solutions in the areas of crisis prevention, building a city of resilience and environmental sustainability.
